There’ll be no meeting of The Aylesford Knitting Group this evening as we are currently enjoying Half Term. But don’t forget to come and join us if you can for The Big Lunch this Sunday, 2 June.
From 12.00 noon onwards we will be having a picnic lunch (and, possibly, a glass of wine) on the river bank down by the village car park. Bring a blanket and a picnic, but most of all, bring your knitting!

Today’s card is for a Fabulous Sketch over at Retro Sketches #64.
As soon as I saw it, I was hoping I would have some time to play along.
I have made two additional cards this week and didn’t get either of them linked up on time…UGH!
Hate when that happens, but in the grand scheme of life is that really what matters?
I get upset with myself when I get upset about something so petty when there is tragedy surrounding us each and everyday!
Watching the news just breaks my heart!! Those children and teachers must have been so frightened!

So, today I will be thankful for the little things and the things that don’t get done….really don’t matter after all.
This card is going to a fellow co-worker whom unfortunately is being displaced next year….
but that is another sad story in itself.
