How to make your own Christmas JOY (a Christmas paper craft)

This week’s preview of easy Christmas crafts has been fun. Today I wanted to squeeze in one more pretty paper craft for Christmas. Because sometimes, you have to make your own joy, right? And that’s just what Rebekah Meier did when she made these pretty paper cubes that spell out JOY. These little, 3” cubes will spread JOY wherever they’re displayed. Or, super-size your JOY and use 5” cubes. (Take a peek at the sweet LOVE Cubes Rebekah made for Valentine’s Day, too.)

To make Christmas JOY Cubes, you’ll need:

  • STYROFOAM™ Brand Foam: Three, 3” cubes
  • Scrapbook papers, 12” x 12”, in coordinating colors and designs
  • Acrylic craft paint in red
  • Glitter in red
  • Wood letters: J, O, Y
  • Paper glue
  • Embellishments: stickers, rickrack, ribbon, buttons, beads, other trims of choice
  • Tools needed: Scissors; straight pins; paintbrush
