monogrammed christmas stocking tutorial

Nothing says Christmas like a bit of last-minute cramming… so we thought, amongst all the things we still need to buy/cook/sort, we may as well also cram in a little last-minute Christmas craft too. Well, why not. So we decided to make each of our little ones a little personalised Christmas stocking. They may be a little young for it, but one day they’ll appreciate it (or what’s inside!). If you want to cram in a little craft too, here’s how. You’ll need:

  • Paper to create a template
  • Half a metre of red cord
  • White furry material
  • A square of gingham fabric
  • A scrap of festive fabric
  • Bondaweb
  • Green embroidery thread
  • A bell and a few buttons
  • 30cm red ribbon
